Godwin Eagle Express 11/13/2021

I hope that you had a good week.  I know that our students enjoyed their days off this week!  Here is a link to the school-wide calendar for this coming week.

  • Covid-19 Positive Cases: From October 30-November 5, 2021 , Godwin had confirmed positive Covid-19 cases which resulted in 32 exposures.
  • Congratulations to Berkeley Nance, who is the regional champion for boys cross country!  We wish him the best of luck at the state tournament on Saturday, November 13th!
  • Congratulations to 9th grader Camelia Sharma, who won the $10,000 DoD STEM Talent Award in the Broadcom MASTERS, the nation’s premier middle school STEM competition. Camellia built a 3D-printed aerial drone/boat that can fly to a spot, land on the water and take underwater photos. Her software can then count the fish living there.
