The PTSO and the Godwin Safety team will be hosting an in-person safety forum on February 13th at 7:00pm at Godwin to discuss school safety at Godwin. We will share more information soon about this event.
- End of Course Writing Performance Task Assessments: Henrico County Public Schools (HCPS) will continue to implement End of Course (EOC) Writing Performance Tasks instead of multiple-choice writing SOL tests during the 2022-23 school year. 9th and 10th students will complete Performance Tasks this year that count toward their English verified credits. Students will be immersed in tasks throughout this school year to prepare for this EOC task. Godwin Students enrolled in English 10 (except those in Edgenuity) will be taking their next Writing Performance Task on Wednesday, February 1, 2023.
- During the testing period, all other students will be in study hall, so if you would like for your child to remain at home in the morning, your child can arrive before 1st period and then report to afternoon classes. Daily attendance will be taken through 1st period on this day.
