YAY TYRUS LYLES! Dr. Tyrus Lyles, the principal at Elko Middle School, is today's "Yay of the Day" honoree! Superintendent Amy Cashwell honored him recently at Elko.

Nominator Kerry Barrett, the school nurse at Elko, said:
"I was swamped in the clinic and he took wheelchair outside to bring a student to me. While it doesn't sound like much, I have never had a principal back me up the way he does. He is amazing!"
