"I would nominate Mrs. Copeland for a 'Yay' because she consistently goes above and beyond for her students. Mrs. Copeland has created a classroom environment that makes every student feel safe, valued and encouraged. Her dedication to her students is evident in the way she patiently helps each one of her students, providing support to make them succeed. She motivates me to do my best in every class. Mrs. Copeland is the best example of what it means to go above and beyond for the success and well-being of her students. What sets Mrs. Copeland apart is her genuine commitment to her students. Beyond just teaching the curriculum she goes the extra mile to build meaningful relationships with her students. Her belief in every student's success is unmatched compared to other teachers, offering personalized guidance and encouragement to help everyone reach their full potential. Above all, Mrs. Copeland is a teacher who leads with her heart. She deserves to be recognized for all the hard work and care she puts into her students' education every single day.

"Mrs. Copeland consistently makes a positive impact on my education. Especially in the in the morning when I need extra help. She always took the time to make sure I understood the content to matter how long it took. Whether it was explaining complex concepts, answering questions, or simply providing support. As a student who gets distracted very easily just her checking in with me while I am completing my assignments is the extra step that helped me thrive."

Thank you for all you do, Tea Copeland, to make a positive difference and move HCPS forward!
